Simon Guthrie - Managing Director
Before founding Guthrie and Partners Limited Simon Guthrie ran a number of successful bars/restaurants in central London before he recognised the need for a personalised and well structured specialist hospitality recruitment service.
Simon has direct experience in running family owned restaurants, sports club venues and restaurants in the City of London as well as central London bars and hotels.
In 2006 Simon formed Guthrie and Partners Limited to deliver reliable and bespoke recruitment services to the catering and hospitality sector.
Starting with a few boutique clients Simon soon developed a formidable reputation for delivering high quality talent in short time at highly competitive rates to a wide range of clientele.
Simon holds an HCIMA professional certificate in hotel and catering management from Bournemouth University and is a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.
James Grant - Client Relations - Associate Partner
James Grant brings to the team a wealth of quality hotel and restaurant experience.
Having won numerous accolades including the UK’s best front of house team and top 100 restaurants to name only a few; his extensive managerial career has seen him work for Jumeirah, The Savoy Group, Rosewood, Carprice Holdings and he also owns a successful wine shop and deli.
His passion for hospitality is infectious. He will be an asset to our team and drive forward the quality we strive for.
