I established GPR - Guthrie & Partners (Ltd) Resourcing in 2012 and it has taken on different guises over the years as the industry itself has changed. We sit comfortably in the ‘Search Firm’ sector.

Looking after fewer clients (some may have one site, some have 31) but doing it well. Very Jerry Maguire! Achieved by really understanding their ethos and looking after all their recruitment needs from most junior to Board level.

Smaller than you think.. Hospitality may be the largest industry in the world., but all the top people know each other. Relationships are key.

What does this mean exactly?

It means; I grew up in a family that owned restaurants. My father was a food critic. Studied hotel management at Uni. Joined the largest private restaurant group in the UK and became the youngest general manager after 2 years. All your friends work in the industry. Over 30 years industry knowledge.

Who are the Partners in GPR? We find ourselves prevalent in the deluxe Gastro Pub market and the Private Members Club market.

First, our clients are our business partners. Our success depends on theirs and quite offered, vice versa.

Historically London centric, but our network has grown as our clients have expanded out of London. We operate throughout the whole hospitality sector at management level.
